Carrbridge Films launched in May 2006 with the sole intention of producing one film - Hag of the Bridge - in order to raise money for our local village hall's redevelopment fund. However, following the great success of Hag of the Bridge we have continued producing films.

Based in Carrbridge, a small village in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, our aim is simple: produce high quality films whilst supporting, interacting or promoting with our local communuty or raising money for charitable causes.

Many often seem confused over what exactly "youth run" means - presuming that behind the initiative there are a team of adults. Not in this case, everything you see is produced by young people from Carrbridge and everyone you come into contact, be it on twitter or via email, is also a young person.

We've had a number of fantastic oppotunities to work with all sorts of people, from those involved in youth work to community arts programmes and working on an educational basis, alongside collaborating with local artists.

Age: 18
Fergus is one of the group 'founders.' He is the director, editor and co-ordinator of Carrbridge Films and has been making films since he was 13.

MCWILLIAM
Age: 17
Sarah is one of our lead actresses, presents and writes for Carrbridge News and is set to take the lead role in our upcoming feature film.

JOANNE
WOOD
Age: 16
Joanne was also one of the 'founders' of Carrbridge Films in 2006 and has always taken lead acting roles as well as presenting Carrbridge News.
