In 2006 a group of three youths in Carrbridge were sitting one night, wondering what to do and how to occupy their time. A new subject matter for discussion arose: future carrer ambitions. One wanted to be an actress, one a model and the other a film maker. "Why don't we make a film," one of them said. Sitting beside Carrbridge at night when this happened provided the most obvious idea for this film: the hag. This was May 24th 2006 and on May 25th we, after speedily gathering a willing cast, shot the first scenes of Hag of the Bridge. Carrbridge Films was born. Now, almost four years later and we are still running, still producing and still striving for quality.

Carrbridge News
Carrbridge Films is an independant film company based in Carrbridge. The company is run completely by young people from Carrbridge and aims to produce high quality films whilst also supporting and including our local community or raising money for charitable causes. We've worked with a number of organisations including, Cairngorm National Park, Carrbridge Community Arts and worked on an educational basis in schools. Recently, we've been exploring the possibilities behind new mobile platforms and social networking: both of which in time will become key in how we opporate. Since launching in 2006 we have grown to incorporate more and more people of all ages, want to join the team?
